[about me]

who is she?
[hey i’m Maddie, i am an independent audio/visual artist and sound designer from Denmark]
—
[in the beginning of 2023 i started releasing music under the moniker “[lý]” and in the summer of the same year i started studying at Sonic College]
[i am a very detail-oriented individual, who caters to even the smallest elements in the projects i’m involved in.
[most of my personal creative endeavors are based around trying to convey complex emotions, through different mediums. emotions i’m not able to fully express or share in other ways due to their obscurity]
where did she come from?
[i’ve been messing around with creative stuff from a very young age – i fondly remember going to stores and playing with Garage Band on the iPads there. in 6th grade, i discovered Blender and was pretty hooked on playing around with lighting and cameras in such a free space – so much potential at my fingertips]
[in 2018 i stumbled upon FL Studio, one thing led to another and now Ableton is my DAW of choice for all things musical. my [lý] productions are often very hard to describe because i take inspiration from so many different places at once. personally, i would consider them more “small auditory experiences” rather than songs – most of the time at least]
[since starting at Sonic College i’ve been using Pro Tools for film audio, post production for youtube, as well as dolby atmos mixing]
